Important Update on Azzur Group Operations

As an organization that supports our vital life sciences and healthcare industry, Azzur continues adapting the way we work to the changes caused by the COVID-19 situation.  The following updates are intended to provide information about our continuing operations across the country.
 



 NORTH CAROLINA
 
Gov. Roy Cooper of North Carolina has announced a mandatory stay-at-home order for the state, including the closure of all non-essential businesses, starting Monday, March 30, 2020, at 5 pm ET. 
 
Azzur Labs qualifies as an essential service; therefore, Azzur Labs Raleigh remains open and operational, with the following modifications:
  • Laboratory samples can continue to be sent to our Raleigh, NC facility for processing as normal.
  • Orders can also be submitted to Azzur Labs at this time.
  • Sampling technicians will continue to visit essential client sites for scheduled service. If your facility has closed, please inform us as soon as possible, so that we can adjust our schedules to service other clients. 
 
Supporting the order from Gov. Cooper, our Raleigh-based administrative and consulting office will close its physical office, with all customer services and support continuing on a remote basis, or on-site at essential customer locations that remain open
 

MASSACHUSETTS:

On March 23, 2020, Gov. Charlie Baker of Massachusetts announced a state-wide order closing non-essential businesses and limiting gatherings of more than 10 people until April 7, 2020, unless extended. 
 
Azzur Cleanrooms-on-Demand (COD), Azzur Labs, and Azzur Technical Services (ATS) qualify as essential services; therefore, the Waltham, MA facilities supporting these services remain open and operational, with the following modifications:
  • Laboratory samples can continue to be sent to our Waltham, MA facility for processing as normal.
  • Orders can also be submitted to Azzur Labs at this time.
  • Our calibration, maintenance, and sampling technicians will continue to visit client sites for scheduled service. If your facility has closed, please inform us as soon as possible, so that we can adjust our schedules to service other clients. 
  • Essential client personnel will be permitted access to the COD facility up to a maximum of four (4) people, per client, with supplemental facility protective measures in effect.

Supporting the order from Gov. Baker, our Waltham-based administrative and consulting office will close its physical office, with all customer services and support continuing on a remote basis, or on-site at essential customer locations that remain open.
 

MARYLAND:
 
On March 23, 2020, Gov. Larry Hogan of Maryland announced a mandatory state-wide closure of non-essential businesses

Supporting the order from Gov. Hogan, our Bethesda, MD-based administrative and consulting office will close its physical location, with all customer services and support continuing on a remote basis, or on-site at exempt customer locations that remain open.
 

NEW JERSEY
 
On March 21, 2020, Gov. Phil Murphy of New Jersey announced a “stay-at-home” order across the state, including the closure of all non-essential businesses.

Supporting the order from Gov. Murphy, our Princeton, NJ-based administrative and consulting office will close its physical location, with all customer services and support continuing on a remote basis, or on-site at exempt customer locations that remain open.
 

On March 20, Azzur Group announced the following updates:

PENNSYLVANIA:
 
On March 19, 2020, Gov. Tom Wolf of Pennsylvania announced mandatory state-wide closures for all non-life-sustaining businesses. 
 
Azzur Labs has been deemed an essential life-sustaining service; therefore, Azzur Labs remains open and fully operational.
  • Laboratory samples can continue to be sent to our Schnecksville, PA facility for processing as normal.
  • Orders can also be submitted at this time.
  • Our sampling technicians will continue to visit client sites for scheduled service. If your facility has closed, please inform us as soon as possible, so that we can adjust our schedules to service other clients. 

Supporting the order from Gov. Wolf, our Philadelphia-based administrative and consulting office will close its physical location, with all customer services and support continuing on a remote basis, or on-site at exempt customer locations that remain open.
 

CALIFORNIA:
 
On March 19, 2020, Gov. Gavin Newsom of California announced a mandatory state-wide shelter-in-place order
 
Supporting the order from Gov. Newsom, our Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco-based administrative and consulting offices will close their physical locations, with all customer services and support continuing on a remote basis, or on-site at exempt customer locations that remain open.
